Who is Aizehi nomo?

 


Aizehinomo (stage name Aizehi Nomo) is a Los Angles based Nigerian-American singer/songwriter, visionary and creator. A graduate of UCLA's Herb Alpert School of Music; Department of Ethnomusicology, Nomo studied in the World Music track with an emphasis in African-American cultural music, Jazz Vocal Performance and a minor in Music Industry. Music has always been a vehicle through which many of her opportunities and life experiences have been defined.

Her unique style, eclectic background and soulful tone has allowed her to work with award-winning musicians and producers, as well touch international audiences, while performing in some of the world’s most prestigious venues. 

In addition to music, Aizehi Nomo works to create opportunities of inclusion and visibility for marginalized communities, through advocacy and innovation. Aizehi Nomo has worked with various brands to create social campaigns and creative content that highlights Africa and the Diaspora as well as being a co-founder and sitting board member for Jazz Hands for Autism a 501c3 committed to creating a performance platform and vocational accessibility for musicians of all walks of life, to know the joy, the power and the privilege to explore self expression and socialization through musical performance and creative expression.
